Nick Fazah
Chairman and President
Nick Fazah was raised in a United States Army family where service, discipline, and mission focus were foundational values. In 2018, he founded the Tactical Reintegration Project to unite his commitment to America’s Veterans with his expertise in elite aquatic training. His vision was to create a structured pathway for healing and reintegration through purpose driven diving programs.
Nick is a globally recognized leader in freediving education and dive safety. He serves as International Training Director for SSI Freediving America and is one of the Directors of Freediving Education for Scuba Schools International. He also leads the United States Safety Team for Red Bull Cliff Diving. Throughout his career, Nick has trained with world class athletes, judged international competitions, and developed a national level freediving curriculum.
Under his leadership, TRP delivers comprehensive SCUBA and freediving programs designed specifically for Veterans. Nick ensures that every training evolution reflects the standards of accountability, performance, and teamwork familiar to military service, building confidence, resilience, and community with every mission.
Malcolm Bybee
Vice President and Treasurer
Malcolm Bybee is a United States Marine Corps veteran who served eight years on active duty as an 0331 Machine Gunner. He deployed to Iraq in 2006 and Afghanistan in 2011, serving in demanding combat environments that required discipline, teamwork, and decisive leadership.
Following his military service, Malcolm earned his undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurial Business Management from Babson College and a Master’s degree in Project Management from Northeastern University. He currently works as a Senior Construction Professional at a leading engineering firm in Boston, where he oversees complex projects with strong fiscal and operational accountability.
At TRP, Malcolm applies the same mission-first mindset developed in the Marine Corps to support the organization’s financial stewardship and program growth. As a Master Scuba Dive Trainer, he also helps lead aquatic training initiatives that strengthen resilience, camaraderie, and purpose among Veteran members.
Wesley Mullen
Director of Marketing
Wesley Mullen serves as the Director of Marketing for the Tactical Reintegration Project, where he advances the mission of supporting Veterans by strengthening the organization’s visibility, partnerships, and engagement. He is the first non-veteran volunteer to join TRP’s leadership team, bringing a decade of experience in digital marketing, business strategy, and market growth.
Wesley’s professional background spans business management, strategic marketing development, and client-centered growth initiatives. He has led efforts in digital strategy, brand positioning, and business to business sales that drive measurable results and long-term value. At TRP, he applies these skills to expand program awareness, connect with key partners, and ensure the organization reaches the Veterans who can benefit most from its services.
An outdoors enthusiast passionate about skiing, SCUBA diving, and Veteran advocacy, Wesley combines his marketing expertise with a deep commitment to community service. His approach keeps TRP’s outreach disciplined, mission aligned, and focused on sustainable growth that supports Veteran reintegration.
Daniel Desjardin
Director of SCUBA Training
Daniel Desjardin is a United States Marine Corps veteran who served seven and a half years after enlisting shortly before September 11, 2001. He deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan and participated in humanitarian relief efforts, including disaster response operations in the Philippines in 2006. His service instilled resilience, adaptability, and a deep commitment to others.
After transitioning from the Marine Corps, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Engineering Management from Penn State University. His technical background and structured leadership approach directly inform his dive instruction methodology.
As a Master SCUBA Dive Trainer and Director of SCUBA Training at TRP, Daniel leads Veterans through disciplined underwater training that builds confidence and mental clarity. He believes diving provides a rare environment of focus and stillness, helping Veterans reconnect with purpose and strength.
Michael Rossini
Director of Winter Programs
Michael Rossini is a United States Army veteran who served from 1983 to 1986 and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. His military service reinforced a lifelong commitment to discipline, technical excellence, and leadership.
After completing his service, Mike earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Electronic Technology and Electrical Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He later obtained Professional Engineering licenses in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut and earned a Master of Business Administration from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He currently serves as a Principal Engineer and Technical Director for Electrical Engineering at Tighe and Bond, Inc.
As Director of Winter Programs at TRP, Mike develops structured outdoor initiatives that challenge Veterans physically and mentally. An avid alpine skier and outdoorsman, he believes demanding environments foster confidence, resilience, and renewed camaraderie.
